We are JAX LINKS and SERVICE is what we do!
Message From The President
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Jacksonville Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. The Links, Incorporated is a volunteer service organization of women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of their community. In November 2016, The Jacksonville Chapter celebrated 50 years of friendship and service in the Jacksonville community. We are excited and very proud to have made a positive difference through our five facets, Services to Youth, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, Health and Human Services, and The Arts.
We are motivated to enhancing the lives of the citizens of Jacksonville. We strive to execute programs designed to transform the lives and situations of others for the better. For the past 7 years, our members have mentored middle school girls at Butler Middle School through the GEMS (Girls Empowered and Motivated to Succeed) Program. We facilitated valuable, practical, and fun workshops resulting in positive outcomes for all involved.
Our national organization, The Links, Incorporated, is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946 with a membership of 14,000 professional and distinguished women who are individual achievers that continue to make a difference in the lives of others and their communities. The Links have been contributing positively to communities across the world with over 280 chapters, located in 41 states including the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The heartbeat of The Links, Incorporated consists of 2 million service hours contributed annually.
I am overjoyed to be amongst dynamic women who continue to create positive paths for others. Thank you for taking time to learn more about The Jacksonville Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and we hope you stop by again.
